Loser Ed has a incredibly boring job, a beater automobile, a very bad apartment, and no hope of a female friend. Ed does not think things could get any worse for him until the day he wakes up up and finds he had GONE the living dead. Ed does not know anything about the living dead and is astounded to find that as a the living dead he is good-looking, lands a modeling job, and becomes an Olympic track star.
Yet, the living dead Ed is not able to enjoy his new life because he is scared loser Ed will come out and totally destroyed everything. Things heat up for Ed when his hot the living dead (and in secret vegetarian) female friend gets him involved in the the living dead equal rights movement. Ed has a chance to make life better for the living dead everywhere, but he will he risk it all to become the the living dead he was meant to be?
