This story follows a adolescent rock hopper penguin named Cody renegade from his hometown of Shiverpool, Antarctica, where all of the other penguins think he is nothing but a surfing fool, to the "Big said something designed to preserve the memory of a person or an event Surf Off" on Pen bone Iceland. Young Cody is determined to win the most important competition in the world of penguin surfing in esteem of "Big said," a dead surfing legend of who he has idolized since childhood.

But the waves in Pen bone are different than in Shiverpool, and the competition is steep. The current champion, thinking to hghly of yourself Tank Evans, Is not just about to let this little penguin knock him from first place without a fight. When Cody wipes out and encounters someone who knows about a subject, a person who lives alone and avoids people getting older the previous surfer, living in the jungle, he learns some important lessons about life and surfing, and even teaches someone who knows about a subject a thing or two.
